About Us
NQ Fishing Adventures provides premium accommodation at a fully-equipped fishing hut. We handle the hard work, so you can focus on the catch.
Your host will provide breakfast and dinner (bring your own lunches), bait (live and frozen), fillet your fish, cook your crabs, and handle all the cleaning. While this is not a guided fishing charter, your host provides invaluable local knowledge to help you find the fish.
Our Location & Fleet
We are located about 80km south of Townsville at beautiful Jerona. Our fleet consists of four custom 4.1m Polycraft boats, with the option of electric motors for dedicated lure fishermen.
Safety & Operation
Boats can carry up to 4 people, but we recommend 2-3 per boat for maximum comfort. The nominated skipper for each boat must have a current boat license and be a minimum of 21 years old.
Safety First: Skippers will sign a waiver after a complete safety briefing. Life jackets are provided and highly recommended to be worn at all times while on the water.

- Adventures are tailored for 3-8 people.
- There is a minimum 3-night stay requirement.
- Free transfers to and from Townsville airport are available upon request.
- We are currently accepting bookings up to 12 months in advance.
